وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنَ الْخَوْفِ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْوَالِ وَالْأَنفُسِ وَالثَّمَرَاتِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ
“And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient.”
(Quran 2:155)

“عَجَبًا لِأَمْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِ، إِنَّ أَمْرَهُ كُلَّهُ خَيْرٌ، وَلَيْسَ ذَاكَ لِأَحَدٍ إِلَّا لِلْمُؤْمِنِ”
“Wondrous is the affair of the believer, for there is good in every matter of his, and this is not the case with anyone except the believer.”
(Sahih Muslim, 2999)

“Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah. Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured.”

Remembrance of Allah through prayer, supplication, and recitation of the Quran brings tranquility to the heart, alleviating stress and anxiety. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) advised turning to Allah in moments of distress:
“كان النبي ﷺ إذا حزبه أمر صلى”
“Whenever the Prophet (ﷺ) faced a matter of concern, he would pray.”
